Remove Direct Security Tool

In earlier versions of EVA Netmodeler, security was primarily administered by relationships directly between Users (or User Groups) and AreaSecurity items (for functions) or default items of specific types (for type permissions). In later versions and installations, the model has been enhanced with Domains, which group various related types for ease of administration. We now normally administer security at the Domain level rather than directly between Users and types. This tool allows automatically removing the security links associated with the earlier model.

You should ensure that the users to be affected have the required rights they should retain via other means (i.e. Domain related security permissions) before you remove the direct security. Removing direct security rights for ALL users on a large site can be a slow operation.

This function can be accessed from the EVA Netmodeler system menu.
